General Terms and Conditions


I General Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for the under the Anantara, AVANI, Elewana or Tivoli brands of Minor Hotel Group Limited (the “Hotels”) are accepted. The Terms & Conditions below are for bookings made directly via the Hotels’ website and payments via payment gateway system through Minor Continental Holding (Luxembourg) S.a’r.l., an affiliated company of Minor Hotel Group Limited. By using this Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may revise these terms & conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your use of some parts or features of the Site may be governed by additional terms and conditions. Where this is the case you will be notified accordingly of those additional terms and conditions.

II Early Check-Out
The property reserves the right to charge an early departure fee in the event a guest departs earlier than the original departure date.

III Late Check-Out
On request. Please contact the Front Office. Additional fees may be applied.

IV Guarantee Policy
A valid Credit Card required at booking time. The credit card used at the time of booking must be presented by the guest together with positive identification on check-in at the property. An imprint or swipe of the card will be taken on check-in. On departure from the property, all fees for services rendered shall be payable by the guest and where necessary the credit card will be debited by the property for the fees. The property shall debit the credit card for all cancellations, no-shows or for any damages caused by the guest to the property, howsoever arising. This transaction constitutes an electronic transaction and a binding agreement in terms of which the guest authorises the property to debit the credit card as stated above and the guests written signature shall not be required for authorisation purposes.

VI Cancellation Policy
Each rate booked at a Minor Hotel Group property, is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the rate booked. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations under the circumstances where it appears that a customer has provided an invalid credit card, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. In addition, we also reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our terms & conditions. If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early, a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked. In the cases of the aforementioned booking cancellations, Minor Hotel Group has no obligation to guarantee new available bookings or best rates. A new booking at the best available rate will need to be made by the guest at the time of the new reservation. As a condition of using this website, you agree to provide proof of payment to the hotel reservations department within 48 hours of the time of booking and will indicate the reservation confirmation number on the proof of payment. You will be fully responsible for any banking fees and/or costs required to complete the bank funds transaction(s). Furthermore, you acknowledge that the reservation may be cancelled by the hotel if proof of payment is not submitted to the hotel within the 48-hour notice period. You will be responsible for any cancellation or no show penalties that might be incurred and hereby acknowledge that booking and personal contact information provided is correct for the hotel’s validation purposes.

VII Pricing Errors
Minor Hotel Group and its affiliates reserve the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price or service at any point in time.

VIII Foreign Currency
Only the currency confirmed within your reservation is confirmed.

IX Relocation
In the rare unexpected event whereby the Property cannot provide accommodation as previously confirmed, the Property will comply with its standard of obligation by undertake to relocate guests into an alternative property within our Minor hotel group of equal or better grading at no expense to the guest. Should there not be a property of equal or better grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide guests with a property of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to the guest. The alternatives offered are at the Property’s discretion. Should the guest wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, then the guest will be required to pay any difference.

X Disclaimers
As a condition of your use of this Website, you warrant to Minor Hotel Group that you will not use this Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. Although Minor Hotel Group may from time to time monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, bulletin boards, and the like on this Website, Minor Hotel Group is under no obligation to do so and assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such locations nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on the Website. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. Minor Hotel Group will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing Minor Hotel Group to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.

XI Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, Minor Hotel Group and its affiliates shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non performance of obligations under this Terms and Conditions.

XII Insurance
Minor Hotel Group strongly recommends you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy include, but not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

XIII Links to Third Parties
Minor Hotel Group does not control any third party website and is therefore not responsible for the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. Minor Hotel Group provides such links only as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by Minor Hotel Group of the linked website or any information contained in it.

XIV Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The products and/or services described in and available through the site may not be available in your country. We make no representation that the services or products offered in the site are appropriate or available for use in any particular location. The site is operated from Thailand and it is governed by the laws of Thailand.



Please be advised that the rooms are held on a tentative basis and will be reserved upon finalizing the request and agreement directly with the hotel.

Room Rate Policy
Any rate quoted through this platform is subject to 10% service charge, 6% tourism fee, 4% municipality fee and fixed AED 15/- municipality fee per bedroom per night. Effective 01 January 2018 additional 5% VAT to apply.

Complimentary Policy:
For every 25 (twenty five) guestrooms booked, materialized and full prepaid, 1 (one) guestroom shall be provided complimentary on a guestroom basis only, up to a maximum of 3 per night. Non cumulative.
Complimentary rooms are to be considered for the following category: Deluxe Balcony Rooms and only during the official dates of the group program.
Complimentary guestrooms are to be considered as additional guestrooms to the guarantee room block.

Attrition Policy:
21 days or more prior to the group’s arrival, a maximum of 10% of the contracted room block may be released from the block without penalty fee. After this date, all rooms released, cancelled, early departures and no shows will be invoiced with a cancellation fee. This fee will equal the number of rooms released multiplied by the room rate and the number of nights.

Check-in / check-out time Policy:
Rooms are available for check-in after 15:00hrs on the day of arrival and must check-out before 12:00 noon on the day of departure. Early check in will be subject to availability.
Late check out until 18:00hrs: 50% of the confirmed group rate (subject to availability)
Late check out after 18:00hrs: 100% of the confirmed group rate (subject to availability)
For an extended length of stay, the group rate will be subject to availability.
Participants will be requested to provide a credit card upon check in.
Identification such as a passport or valid GCC/UAE identification is required at check in.

As per the Rules and Regulations of the Government of UAE, all hotel events should be registered in their database. The hotel therefore requires any valid identification of the Organizer or contract signatory with picture on it (i.e. Passport or Driver’s License) to be scanned. As part of this procedure, kindly submit the required documents upon signing of the agreement to confirm the arrangements. Government Permit Fee applies.

Deposit Requirements
The following deposits are required for guestrooms and Event Functions and Activities which are guaranteed and paid by Company Name:
•Initial deposit of 50% of the total estimated charges for Guestrooms must be received within 7 days from the date of confirming the group.
•Remaining balance of the total estimated charges for Guestrooms, Private Functions, Activities and any other services confirmed with the hotel must be received not later than 21 days prior to arrival.
•Additional extra services requested by the Company not considered in this contract shall be confirmed and signed in a separate contract and will also be added to the final invoice settled not less than 21 days prior to arrival.
•Any extra charges during the group program must be paid before group checks out.
•Individual charges not covered by the Company, to be paid by each individual guest directly at the hotel reception upon check-out.
All payments should be made in cash, by bank transfer or corporate credit card (online process).
Bank transaction fees should be paid by the company directly and not to be deducted from deposit amounts.

General Terms & Conditions:
The Hotel will not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control, such as cancellation due to unexpected Government functions, power failures, new laws and regulations or force majeure.
The Client will fully indemnify the Hotel against any damage, injury and loss of equipment, furniture or fixtures caused by the Client’s guests to the Hotel’s property, and shall be responsible for any damage, injury and losses caused to any third party by himself, by his guests, or by any other party having any relation with the Client.
The Client will notify and get approval from the Hotel of his intention to bring any helpers, florists or contractors to assist him in his function. Any technical installation such as lighting, stages, decoration, etc. must be with the approval and under the supervision of the Hotel.
The Hotel assumes no liability for loss, damage or theft of any materials or equipment kept or left in the hotel’s possession for storage at any time. Goods left on the premises without prior arrangements, will be deem abandoned. All deliveries of goods to the Hotel must be made through the designated loading area. The Hotel assumes no responsibility for personal items which are damaged or lost prior to, during or following an event. Personal insurance coverage for valuables should be arranged by the client and /or the patrons/contractors if appropriate.
The Client undertakes to adhere to the local laws, customs and regulations and will be fully responsible for the guest’s behavior. The Client and his guests shall be subject to the instruction of the Hotel and its employees.
